7 Deadly Sins Beauty Tag

Hello! 

Monday, fresh start to a new week and only 17 more days till Christmas!

I recently watched a few videos of people doing the 7 Deadly Sins Beauty Tag and thought it was such a neat little tag, I totally wanted to do it too! But currently I don't have a Youtube channel, so I thought i'd just do it here! I love it because everyone has a different answer, and it give you a bit of insight into someone's beauty routine. If your a bit nosy like me, you'll love this tag!

1. GREED: What is your most inexpensive beauty item? What is your most expensive?

Hm, my most inexpensive beauty product is probably my Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick in 107! Rimmel have some on the best drugstore lipsticks I think because they're super cheap, pigmented and long lasting. At my local drugstore I can buy them for $7. My most expensive product is definitely my Mac eyeshadow palette, in Canada the pan shadows retail for $12 and I have 10 of the 15 spaces filled which adds up to $120 dollars... yikes. I never realized that till now, well when you love something... I get so much use out of it. 

2. WRATH: What beauty products do you have a love/hate relationship with?

Liquid eyeliner for sure! I love the look of it, but it is so time consuming to get it right. I put the time in when I want that look but it's something i definitely don't do everyday! But the more I do it, the better and faster I get at it so maybe I should just do it more often, jeez the things I'm starting to realize while doing this tag!

3. GLUTTONY: What are your most delicious beauty products?

My Yves Saint Laurent Silky Sensual Radient Lipstick in Peach Passion and the Make Up For Ever Artist Nudes Volume 1 Palette. This are firm favourites of mine, and they feel super special to have. I just get super excited every time I use them!

4. SLOTH: What beauty product do you neglect, due to laziness?

Bronzer, I have a couple really nice ones sitting around ready to use, but I just always prefer to go for a paler look. I've gotten so used to my look without it, that when I apply it to my look I feel like it's super bold on my face and doesn't make me look like myself.

5. PRIDE: What beauty product gives you the most self confidence?

Mascara, it just brightens and opens up my eyes so much that I feel like m face looks a bit dull without it! I love long thick lashes, and I think having those lashes it such a staple in my look.

6. LUST: What attributes do you find most attractive in the opposite sex?

Sense of humour, caring, friendly, adventurous, sense of style and good hygiene!

7. ENVY: What items would you most like to receive as a gift? 

The new Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Palette or the Hourglass Ambient Edit!

I saw it and it really struck a cord with me, i've always believed that a simple smile can be such a changing thing. Smiling can change you mood, and light your face up real quick. It just makes you feel and look better all around. Perhaps giving someone a quick smile can turn into an opportunity, or give someone that little bit of hope to get them through the day. 

As I've gotten older, I always try to make a conscious effort to smile at a stranger if our eyes should meet. I don't always remember, sometimes I get caught up in my own world. Then other times the smile isn't returned, which is okay because you can't expect everyone to. But I know that I tried to be friendly, and that's what counts.

Nothing has to be said, no words have to be exchanged. Just a simple smile is all.

Or maybe many words will be exchanged and something new has been created.

Either way is okay!

Beauty Review: Maybelline Fit Me Hydrate & Smooth Foundation

Hello!

I bring you another wonderful beauty review today, for a product that I have absolutely fallen head over heels in love with! Seriously, it has to be on of my holy grail products! The Maybelline Fit Me Hydrate & Smooth Foundation is perfection, and yes if you have oily skin you can still use this. 

Now, this is a very dewy formula and when you first put it on there will be a lot of shine until you powder. But once powdered, it feels so light and moisturizing! I feel like I'm not wearing any thing on my face, even with the concealer and powder. I still deal with acne and a great amount of acne scaring, and it smooths over it without clinging or dry patches. It overs a medium coverage, but it feels like it could easily be buildable. They offer an amazing range of 16 shade, so there is something for everyone. I personally use Classic Ivory if you are interested to know, it matches me well I think. You get 30ml, it is oil free and it retails for $8.96 at my local Walmart.
